Some people in debt believe the myth that debt management companies on television will save them; which the truth is that credit counseling organization will “manage” your debt. The debt management company will negotiate a monthly payment plan with your creditor for lower payment arrangements and lower interest. This is not a loan as with debt consolidation; the two are often confused. Seeing that many people are up to their necks in debt many debt management companies are springing up everywhere. Companies much like AmeriDebt and Consumer Credit Counseling Service can help debtors receive better interest and lower payments, but as we all know at a price. When trying to get a Conventional, FHA, VA loan, the creditors will treat you as if you have filed for Chapter 13 Bankruptcy.
