Getting a Credit Card with bad debt8/12/2009 9:28:35 AMWhen a consumer has bad credit there are ways to acquire credit cards such as Capital One, First Premier, Orchard Bank. The following ways should help you begin the process of owning a credit card with bad credit. First begin by going to a retail company that isn’t as large; a much more smaller retail store may somewhat easier for you to obtain. If you are approved for the credit card make a purchase that is small; make a payment for the purchase on time. Remember interest rates!!! So if you decide to pay more of a payment it is okay it will just allow you to pay less in of an interest charge. Second try your bank whether it is a credit union or a savings institution. They may be willing to furnish you with a credit card. Third, apply for a secured credit, which requires you to deposit a specific amount into the savings and you will be allowed line of credit that will be a percentage of your deposit. If that fails then you will have to result to asking a friend or relative to co-sign for you. Even though having a Capital One, First Premier, and Orchard Bank credit card would be lovely but you have start all over again. Good Luck. Comments
