Employment Campaign

11/19/2009 9:32:55 AM

Expensive visual media has been created by, The Employment Policies Institute. In order to teach Americans about the $11 trillion debt, which is causing tremendous amounts of trouble for Americans. The Employment Policies’ reason for creating such a video is to make Americans aware of the problem so that they can change their action before it is too late. The non-profit organization has established a multi-million dollar crusade to heighten the attention of America’s federal debt. The advertisement is geared towards all aspects; a piece of material that has been viewed is a website www.defeatthedebt.com, which shows a rolling odometer with the red ink at over $11 trillion and a new TV advertisement. The TV ad displays school children saying the pledge allegiance to the national debt. "And to the Chinese government that lends us money, and to the interest, for which we pay, compoundable, with higher taxes and lower pay until the day we die," the school children in the ad say. The organizers of the campaign want to let Americans know the casualties of borrowing money on the National Credit Card. "We're also trying to get people to understand who we owe all this debt to, and the leverage that foreign governments and foreign banks have over this country when they start to accumulate that much debt," said Rick Berman, executive director of the Employment Policies Institute, the conservative group behind the campaign.
